Beretta APX Semi Auto Striker Fired Pistol 9mm
About the Beretta APX Semi Auto Striker Fired Pistol 9mm
The Beretta APX Semi Auto Striker Fired Pistol is the newest addition to the Beretta family. The APX has been through years of testing and evaluation in order to create a modular, and reliable full size duty pistol. The result, speaks for itself, the APX is as durable as any other stiker fired handgun on the market, with features that rank it higher on the list then some of its competitors.
First thing you see with the Beretta APX, is the large spaced out serrations that cover the entire sides of the slide. These monolithic serrations are not just for aesthetics, they allow the user to get a firm grasp on the entire length of the slide. No longer are you dictated into grabbing just the rear of the slide! The modular chassis of this pistol is removable and contains the serialized part of the pistol, allowing the user to replace the factory black grip/frame with other Beretta APX frames of different colors. Each frame of the Beretta APX comes with 3 interchangeable backstraps, with the smallest one installed on the firearm from the factory. The Beretta APX has an ambidextrous slide stop, and can be used a slide release as well. The magazine release is reversible in order to accommodate left handed shooters. Textured grips offer the perfect balance of friction without being too harsh on your hands. Comes with two(2) 17 round metal magazines that drop free. Made in Italy. Be sure to check out Beretta for more information!

Very awesome gun very good looking. The reasons I give it a 4 and not a 5 are a couple things. First it’s annoying to takedown a pain in the rear. I bought a new frame because it looks awesome with the fde frame. Taking the chassis out is a pain. The pin is not easy to takeout the rear pin is also a pain you need a punch tool. Then putting it in the frame is a pain you have to old this spring up and make sure the arm stays in place. You literally need to be an octopus to do all these things. For something that is compared to the sig p320 you would think they would make it easier. The sig is a held up by a single pin and it’s not a hassle swapping the frames.

I put 750 rounds in one hour and ten minutes on my first day at the range. No problems period. I do recommend the heavy recoil spring you can get on Beretta’s web site. I also bought the threaded barrel and the competition striker spring. This gun is a tank, and every round hit the target. Awesome gun and you can’t beat the free five magazines promo on Beretta.com till April 30th 2018.

Outstanding gun and value. These things are built like a brick shit house. Interchangeable parts are cheap and readily available from Beretta. The chassis swap looks like a bit of a pain but I bought one in full FDE and one in Black from SS so I don’t plan on messing with them too often. If I do, I’ll slide the grip onto a block of wood and handle it in a vise just like assembling an AR.
