The FN SCAR 17S FDE 98541-1 is the semi auto version of the FN MK17, a go-to heavy hitter option for U.S. Special Operations Forces. The SCAR 17s is chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, allowing greater impact at range. Known for its range, reliability, accuracy, safety, ergonomics, and modularity, The FN SCAR 17S a short stroke gas piston rifle built to exceed the expectations of users with undeniable performance. The lightweight rifle combined with the versatility of individual customization is ideal for Heavy Metal 3-Gun matches. The SCAR 17S can be configured to the individual user in just minutes. Mil-Std M1913 Picatinny rails are located at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions to add a plethora of accessories such as lights, lasers, grips, and optics. The SCAR Series use a hard-coat anodized monolithic aluminum receiver, connected to a polymer lower receiver. The flip up iron sights come integrated into the firearm are adjustable for windage and elevation. The reciprocating charging handle can be swapped to either side of the firearm for ambidextrous use. The safety and magazine release are ambidextrous. Standard Mil Spec trigger with a 6.5-7.5 lbs pull weight. Telescoping 6 position stock that folds to the right side of the firearm for easy transport or storage. The barrel is Hammer-forged, Chrome lined, fully free floated with a unique compensator to reduce muzzle flip and increase accuracy. Included is one(1) 20 round steel magazine with a low friction follower. This model comes with a Flat Dark Earth themed color scheme.
